Every employee at Seymour and Associates, P.C. tries to give back to the community. We are constantly looking for ways to become involved in organizations.
In October, we not only made a donation to the Susan G. Komen fund but several of our employees participated in the Miracle Mile Breast Cancer Walk in Augusta, GA. It was a great way for us to show our support of this wonderful organization.
We have also completed the Warrior Dash which is the world's largest obstacle race series. This was an excellent way for team members to bond while having fun.
More recently, our very own Adrian Bryant participated in the Muscular Dystrophy Association Martinez lock-up. Mr. Bryant was "locked up" for a few hours in order to raise "bail money" which directly gives back to our local MDA program.
Not only do we volunteer our time to outside events, but we also try to give back within the office. We are currently taking entries for a Thanksgiving basket give-away. This basket is full of food items (and a gift card) for a family or individual who may not otherwise be able to celebrate this all-important holiday. It is our hope to try to alleviate some of the stress of Thanksgiving by already going grocery shopping for our lucky winner.
